Booking policy
These policies help us confirm a safe, clear, and enjoyable private hibachi party before any deposit is paid.
Website pricing is based on Sizzle Yard's one $60/person adult hibachi package. Final availability, guest count, event address, sales tax, travel details, upgrades, setup needs, and special requests are confirmed before booking.
Sales tax is not included in the website price. Final sales tax is calculated based on the event address and the applicable CDTFA rate on the event date.
A $100 deposit is required after we confirm availability and event details. The deposit is applied toward the final balance. Deposit and cancellation terms will be confirmed in writing before payment. Events cancelled within 36 hours of the start time may lose the deposit. One reschedule may be allowed based on availability.
Gratuity is optional and never required. Any tip is fully at the customer's discretion.
For qualifying Los Angeles County and Orange County bookings meeting the $600 minimum before applicable sales tax, travel, tables, chairs, and tablecloths are complimentary. For covered areas of San Diego County and Palm Springs, travel arrangements, any applicable travel fee, and setup availability are confirmed according to event location and booking details.
Outdoor cooking, propane, and any open-flame effect depend on the setup, location rules, and weather. Some venues, parks, Airbnbs, HOAs, or weather conditions may limit or prohibit open-flame effects, propane, outdoor cooking, or grill setup.
Airbnbs, parks, community centers, private venues, and HOA communities may require approval for outdoor cooking, propane, grill setup, and fire effects. The host is responsible for confirming location rules before booking.
Please tell us about any food allergies or dietary restrictions before booking. We can review requests and take reasonable precautions, but because we use shared grills, utensils, sauces, and prep areas, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
We need a safe outdoor cooking area. Rain, wind, heat, access issues, unsafe surfaces, or venue restrictions may require setup changes, rescheduling, or cancellation. We will review reasonable options with the host when possible.
We may ask for permission before using identifiable customer photos or videos for marketing. We avoid publishing private addresses, license plates, clear child closeups, or images with another company's branding. If you want a published photo or video removed, contact us.
